Novid Khoshneẓar, a 26-year-old citizen from Izeh, has been released from Ahwaz Prison after posting bail of 10 billion tomans.
Fereshteh Tabanyan, the lawyer representing Khoshneẓar, announced his release, stating: “Novid Khoshneẓar has been released from Ahwaz Prison after posting bail of 10 billion tomans. I still have no information about the case or the charges brought against my client.”
The Karoon Human Rights Organization had previously reported that Novid Khoshneẓar, a 26-year-old resident of Izeh, was arrested by security forces on the morning of Saturday, December 6, 2025 , when he went to the Izeh Intelligence Department to follow up on his confiscated belongings, including his mobile phone and laptop. He was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
Foad Choobin, a member of the families seeking justice for victims of the 2022 protests, had reported that on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 , the Izeh Intelligence Department raided Khoshneẓar’s clothing and accessories printing workshop and confiscated all of his electronic devices, including his mobile phone and laptop.
Khoshneẓar had previously been arrested on April 13, 2023 while attending a memorial ceremony for the late Hamed Salahshour, one of those killed during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising. He was released after five days.
