According to a report received by the Karoon Human Rights Organization, the death sentence of Saman Rashidi, a prisoner from Izeh (Eydeh), was carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Sepidar Prison in Ahwaz.
According to the report, Saman Rashidi had previously been arrested on a charge of “murder” and, following judicial proceedings, was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. His execution was carried out early Tuesday morning at Sepidar Prison in Ahwaz.
