According to reports received by the Karoon Human Rights Organization, Ebrahim Mawadatzadeh (Othmani), a married resident of Bandar Ma’shour (Mahshahr) and father of two, was executed on Sunday, 7 June 2026, in Nava Prison in Ma’shour.
Mawadatzadeh had been arrested approximately two years earlier on murder charges. Following judicial proceedings and the confirmation of his death sentence by the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the sentence was carried out last Sunday.
His execution took place after more than two years in detention, bringing his judicial case to an end.
