Mehdi Ramzdan, an Ahwazi kickboxing athlete, was arrested last week by forces of the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Since his arrest, no information has been released regarding his whereabouts or condition.
Mehdi Ramzdan’s family has expressed serious concern over the continued lack of information and has called for clarification of his fate and immediate access to him. Local sources report that no official authority has so far provided any explanation for his arrest.
