According to received reports, Karim Heydari, a resident of Bandar Ganaveh, was killed by direct gunfire from IRGC and Basij forces on the night of January 7, 2026.
Local sources stated that Karim Heydari was the father of a three-year-old child. They also reported that at least six people were killed in Bandar Ganaveh during the events of that night.
According to these reports, Karim Heydari’s body was handed over to his family about a week later, only after they paid approximately two billion tomans. Sources emphasized that this transfer occurred under heavy security pressure on the family.
