According to received reports and eyewitness testimony, Saeed Tarvand, a Kurdish citizen from Mehran County in Ilam Province, lost his life as a result of direct gunfire from Islamic Republic security forces during public protests in Abadan.
Local sources state that Saeed Tarvand was shot directly during the protests and died from the severity of his injuries. Witnesses emphasize that the security forces fired directly at protesters without any warning.
