Navid Khoshnegar, a 26-year-old resident of Izeh, was arrested on the morning of Saturday, 15 Azar 1404, after reporting to the city’s Intelligence Office to follow up on the return of his confiscated personal belongings, including his mobile phone and laptop.
According to Fouad Choubin, a member of the Justice-Seeking Families, security forces from the Izeh Intelligence Office had carried out an armed raid on Tuesday, 11 Azar on a clothing and accessories printing workshop owned by Khoshnegar, during which they seized all of his electronic devices, including his phone and laptop.
Khoshnegar was arrested upon appearing at the Intelligence Office to retrieve his personal property and was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location. As of the time of publication, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest, any formal charges, or his current condition and place of detention.
Navid Khoshnegar had previously been arrested on April 13, 2023, during a memorial ceremony for Hamed Salahshour, one of those killed during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests. He was released after five days in detention.
