Milad Karami, a 39-year-old Kurdish citizen from Sanandaj and father of two, was killed on Sunday, 25 Aban (15 November 2025) at the entrance of Takab when he was shot directly by law enforcement forces. Reports and images confirm that officers aimed directly at his heart.
According to the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Karami was shot while inside his vehicle. A source familiar with the incident stated that his companion, Mokhtar Goudarzi, was also injured and subsequently detained.
This incident follows a series of similar events in recent days. On Saturday, 24 Aban (14 November 2025), two Kurdish brothers, Khalas Parvizi (30) and Yousef Parvizi (40), from the village of Qanleh in Khoy, were shot and killed by IRGC intelligence forces in the Qotur border region. According to one source, the IRGC also removed the bodies of the two brothers after shooting them.
Additionally, on the evening of Tuesday, 13 Aban (3 November 2025), Reza Adinvand (27) from Kouhdasht, who had been shot by law enforcement while hiking three days earlier, died in hospital.
So far, no official explanation has been provided regarding the reasons for these shootings and the deaths of Kurdish citizens.
