The death sentence of Nasser Jannatpour, a 48-year-old Ahwazi Arab citizen, was carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Sepidar Prison in Ahwaz.
Nasser Jannatpour, a resident of the Qanitra (Dezful) – Maysan (Dasht-e Azadegan) area and the father of two children, was arrested approximately five years ago in his village of residence. He was tried on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death (qisas).
As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been officially announced by Iranian state media or relevant judicial authorities.
