Ahmad Naseri, son of Hato, 36 years old, married with three daughters, and a resident of Harsheh neighborhood along Kut Abdullah Road in southeast Ahwaz, who was arrested by law enforcement in August 2025 on charges of participating in a group altercation, is currently in a coma at Imam Hospital in Ahwaz.
According to received reports, Ahmad showed signs of illness several days ago, but officials at Sepidar Prison, despite the severity of his condition, reportedly prescribed only a single pill without proper medical attention. As his condition worsened, he was transferred to Imam Hospital, where his overall state is now described as critical.
Ahmad Naseri’s family, who visited both the prison and the hospital, have rejected the prison authorities’ claims that his condition is related to a suicide attempt, calling this explanation baseless.
