According to information obtained from an informed source by Iran International, Najmeh-Sadat Bonyan, a female citizen and diver residing in Qanitarah (Dezful), has been arrested by security forces and transferred to Sepidar Prison in Ahwaz.
According to the source, the charge brought against her is reportedly “insulting the sanctities.”
Najmeh-Sadat Bonyan had previously been arrested or subjected to legal proceedings during the January 2026 protests.
