According to received reports and eyewitness accounts, Armin Jashninejad, 23, a petrochemical worker from Mahshahr, was shot dead at 22:30 on January 8, 2026 (19 Dey 1404) in the area of the city’s Farhangsara during protests in Ma’shoor (Mahshahr). He was hit by live ammunition fired directly by law enforcement officers.
Local sources report that the security forces opened fire without warning with the aim of dispersing protesters. Eyewitnesses emphasize that Armin Jashninejad was killed instantly at the scene due to the gunshot.
