Ahwazi Farmers Protest Water Shortages and Demand Their Water Rights

A group of Ahwazi farmers gathered on Saturday, November 9, in front of the Ahwaz Water Authority building to protest water cuts and the violation of their agricultural water rights.

One of the protesters said: “We only want our rightful share of water — nothing more. Our lands have dried up, our livestock have died, and no one is taking responsibility.”
