Rouhollah Zandi, the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Abadan County, announced on Tuesday, 4 Azar 1404 (November 25, 2025) that one of the missing girls in the city has been located.
According to the judicial official, four missing person cases had been registered in Abadan in recent months. One of these cases was identified through police efforts in Tehran and, after being transferred via the Welfare Social Emergency Services, was returned to her family. The identity of the recovered girl has not been disclosed so far.
Zandi explained regarding the other cases that one involved a person who, due to family disputes, attempted suicide. After confirmation by the forensic authorities, the body was returned to the family.
The prosecutor emphasized that efforts to locate the two other girls, whose names have recently been reported in the media and on social networks, are ongoing.
According to previous reports, on the evening of 15 Aban 1404 (November 6, 2025), a 17-year-old girl named Setareh Heidari went out shopping and did not return home. Additionally, in early Mehr 1404 (September 2025), a 42-year-old woman named Marzieh Alboughbesh disappeared under similar circumstances.
